Sâkêwêwak Artists' Collective has been incorporated in the Province of Saskatchewan as a non-profit corporation since June 1996 and is governed by a board made up of practicing artists and writers.
The current Board of Directors consists of Valerie Kinistino, Elwood Jimmy, and Lynn Acoose. Sharon Pelletier is the General Manager.
Our Board of Directors works hard to achieve the mission and vision of Sâkêwêwak. Elected by our members, the Board governs the Collective and provides strategic direction on its priorities. This enables us to move forward with a business plan designed to most effectively meet the interests of the Aboriginal community.
