Lynn grew up on the Sakimay First Nation in the Treaty 4 area of southeastern Saskatchewan.

Currently, she is editing a manuscript of her own poetry entitled "Rites of the Sick". She has collaborated in a number of multidisciplinary projects ranging from spoken word, an art web site, performance and interdisciplinary work. Her ongoing interaction with traditional storytellers and investigation of traditional forms of narrative and theory within a critical context reinforces her experience towards a need to develop programming for Aboriginal audiences.

Lynn has been the Artistic Director for the Sâkêwêwak Storytelling Festival of Regina for the past two years. She presently serves on the Aboriginal Advisory committee of the Canada Council for the Arts. Lynn is also in-residence as the Aboriginal Arts and Cultural Leader at the Dean Godfrey Gallery in Yorkton, Saskatchewan until August, 2005.
