transPOSE, shedding the capacity to fit in
This symposium will bring together artists, curators, academics and theorists representing both Aboriginal and culturally diverse communities in
deep discussion about working within communities informed by histories and discourses outside the bounds of the traditional western European Art canon.
TransPOSE will contribute to the development of contemporary practice and art history by providing rare opportunity for exchange, criticism and the dissemination of new knowledge among and between the original peoples of Canada and culturally diverse communities.
